What is Stylaize
Stylaize is a content workflow tool that turns affiliate product listings into styled decor imagery and schedules the results to social platforms, including Pinterest. This policy covers exactly one thing: the data Stylaize touches through its Pinterest connection. It is not a general privacy policy for every feature of the product.
Data we access
When you connect Pinterest, Stylaize requests two scopes and nothing more:
- boards:read — the names and IDs of your Pinterest boards, so you can choose one when posting.
- pins:write — the ability to create a pin on a board you select.
Stylaize cannot read your existing pins, followers, messages, or any Pinterest data outside these two scopes.
How we use it
The access token is used solely to create pins from content you've approved inside Stylaize, on a board you've chosen, at a time you or an automation you configured has set. Stylaize does not post anything without a corresponding piece of content moving through its own review workflow first.
Storage & retention
Your OAuth token is stored in Stylaize's application database, scoped to your account, and used only for the requests described above. It is retained until you disconnect the integration, at which point it is deleted and no further posting can occur.
Sharing with third parties
Stylaize does not sell your data or share your Pinterest credentials with anyone. The only parties involved in fulfilling a post are:
- Pinterest itself, to receive the pin you asked Stylaize to create;
- the infrastructure providers Stylaize runs on (hosting and, for the image itself, an AI image-generation provider used to produce the styled product photo before it's posted) — these providers process the image content, never your Pinterest credentials.
Your controls
You can end this connection at any time, in either place:
- From Pinterest's own settings, under connected apps — revoking access there immediately invalidates the token Stylaize holds.
- From Stylaize's admin panel, which disconnects the integration and deletes the stored token on our side.
Either method stops all future posting immediately. Nothing already posted to Pinterest is retracted automatically — that follows Pinterest's own pin-deletion process.
Children's privacy
Stylaize's Pinterest integration is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If the scopes Stylaize requests or how it uses Pinterest data changes, this page will be updated and the effective date above will move. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
